generated from the same bake the application runs on. Each carries the values
the registry holds, each value beside its source and its published
uncertainty — and a section naming what the registry does not know.
Why these exist
The application computes everything in your browser, which makes it free to
run and impossible to read without running it. Measured against the built
product: fetching /sim.html returns a loading placeholder and no
facts at all, and a browser driving the full scene first resolves a catalogued
spacecraft after about 16 seconds served over loopback — a floor no real
network reaches — and about 147 seconds on an ordinary 4 Mbit link,
having transferred roughly 70 MB. These pages are the registry's answer to
anything that cannot wait that long, which is most software and many
people.
