Coverage148 stars, Vmag ≤ 4 — the Gaia-saturated brightest sky (Sirius, Canopus, Vega…; Gaia DR3 has no usable parallax at G ≲ 3, so the gaia-bright layer honestly lacks them). Parallax > 3σ gate, per-star σ_d carried; teff DERIVED from B−V where present (Ballesteros 2012, named per record — never a catalogued value); positionally deduplicated (0.3 pc) against curated stars, both Gaia layers and exoplanet hosts (352 dropped). Positions are REAL positions at the simulated instant, not the sky as seen from Earth: each catalogue position is displaced along the star's own measured velocity by (J2000 − catalogue epoch) PLUS the light-travel time d/c, since a catalogue records where a star APPEARED. A star with no measured motion is not displaced at all.
