Pisces-Cetus Supercluster Complex is catalogued in this registry as a structure, held in the frame of CMB Rest Frame, from Large-scale structures (curated).

provenance PROCESSED — derived deterministically from source catalogues (unit, frame and epoch conversions, cross-source reconciliation) — no value invented
Open Pisces-Cetus Supercluster Complex in the live scene → The scene composes a position for any date and is where a figure becomes a picture. It downloads the whole catalogue first: measured against the built product, an object outside the core resolves after about 16 s over a local network and about 147 s over a 4 Mbit link, having transferred roughly 70 MB. If you cannot wait that long, this page is the answer.

Large-scale structure — supercluster complex. catalogued 175 h⁻¹ Mpc → ~258 Mpc at the Planck-2018 h = 0.677 (conversion MODELLED). Anchor: NED preferred position for the Pisces-Cetus supercluster (source: Einasto et al. 1997 supercluster catalogue, SCL 10 — 17 member ACO clusters, catalogued distance 175 h⁻¹ Mpc). Extent: a filamentary complex ~0.1c long (Tully's alignment of clusters on scales up to 0.1c). The supercluster-complex hypothesis: Tully 1986 traced an alignment of clusters — including the Local Supercluster — over ~0.1c toward Pisces-Cetus. Placed at the Pisces-Cetus supercluster proper (SCL 10). [Tully 1986; Einasto et al. 1997]

These are absences in the catalogues aggregated here, not measurements of zero, and not statements that the quantity is unknown to science:

| Coverage | 14 landmark structures above the galaxy-cluster scale — superclusters (Laniakea · Virgo/Local · Shapley · Perseus-Pisces · Pisces-Cetus complex), walls (CfA2 · Sloan · South Pole · the contested Hercules-Corona Borealis, shown with its published rebuttal), voids (Boötes · Local · KBC) + the Great Attractor and the Huge-LQG. Distances from z/cz are MODELLED through the flat-ΛCDM door (Planck 2018) and labelled; cosmological recession is the expansion of space, not motion through space — no drift is modelled |
